Meridian

Meridian Expeditions runs small-group mountain routes across five ranges, capping every departure at eight travellers so an IFMGA guide can lead the rope within earshot of everyone on it. We built the site that carries that restraint through to the browser: no crowded itinerary grid, no upsell banners, just the route, the guide, and the coordinates.

We handled the full experience end to end - a full-bleed hero pinned to exact summit coordinates, a “Meridian Method” section stating the eight-traveller rule as policy rather than marketing copy, a three-route showcase pulled from the full roster of fourteen, a stats bar proving scale through guide certification and return-traveller rate, a founder’s quote, and an enquiry footer built around a two-day reply promise - all on a shared editorial type system pulled from Figma.

Challenge & Solution

The challenge was proving exclusivity without leaning on luxury-travel cliché, for a company whose real differentiator is discipline rather than indulgence. We answered by writing constraint into every section: coordinates in place of stock-photo captions, a hard “eight travellers, maximum” stat in place of a soft one, and route cards that state grade and day count before they ever sell the view.

Final Result

The result is a site that reads like a field dossier and sells like one built on restraint. Visitors leave understanding exactly how small the group will be and how qualified the guide is before they ever reach the enquiry form, and Meridian has a page structure built to introduce new routes without redesigning the story around them.
